This year's LoveFest, the largest electronic music parade and festival will include a three day conference featuring top music talent showcasing the latest gear and software. The organizers are seeking a motivated individual(s) to assist in hands on management of the event.

YOU should be motivated by music, be organized, be eager to learn, personable, good on the phone, able to clear your schedule for the three day conference on October 1, 2 and 3. If you have ever worked in or around a business conference, you go to the head of the line.

WE are some of the folks that bring you the largest electronic music event in North America, LoveFest. This year the parade and festival will be held on Saturday October 4th, 2008 and the lead up is a week of parties, the world's finest DJ's and a conference bringing gear manufacturers, performers, software designers and techies all together in a tree day conference on everything you need to know to be an electronic music producer, performer or promoter.

San Francisco, CA – August 17, 2007 -- Residents of London’s famed THE END and Ibiza’s renown Superfreq parties are coming to San Francisco. Mighty and Non-Fat present to you “The Superfreq Express” featuring the former member of The Shamen and “Tech House” originator/catalyst, MR.C; his protégé and esteemed producer, Adultnapper (Francis Harris); and the next big thing in Electro House – Dollz At Play. Featuring a feast of cosmopolitan, techno-electro, acid, minimal house and techno beats from legends and prodigies– this is a show San Francisco will never forget.

For over 5 years now, the Superfreq nights have been one of the best underground parties around the world continually challenging eclectic electro, house and minimal techno sounds. They currently run every Sunday at The End, as well as select North American dates with Made Event in New York & Miami with a new quarterly residency at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles. After three fantastic seasons in Ibiza, the party successfully migrated from club Underground to the legendary DC 10 last year and the mayhem is now fully underway every Wednesday this summer. In 2005, Superfreq Records was established with partner Luke vB and currently the label is establishing a firm foothold in the world of cutting edge electronic dance music while still retaining a serious element of fun inherent in the Superfreq mantra. On the production front Mr. C has teamed up with Brooklyn’s emerging talent the nefarious Adultnapper, under the guise of the Sycophant Slags.

A true pioneer of dance music Mr. C scaled pop culture heights with the psychedelic-influenced techno-rave act The Shamen in the 1990s as pioneers of the rock/dance crossover and harbingers of today’s scene. His devotion to underground dance music and ascension as tech-house doyen and co-owner of London’s popular The End nightclub has kept Mr. C at the top of his game and a mainstay of the global techno scene. "I phoned round the main movers and groovers in the tech-house scene and said, 'Look, if we all start using this word to create a genre for ourselves, the press can jump on it. All of a sudden we're going to be seen as the leaders of this music.' Good bye to a sweet angel of a friend. We'll miss you, Wafaa!

Manny Berenguel, aka Paranoid Jack, first started Djing in 1994. At the time, he was heavily influenced by the New York / Jersey Garage sound and began to play small underground parties in Toronto's warehouse scene with veterans DJ Cube and Alvaro G. His roots were firmly placed in soul, disco and funk which became an important part in shaping his production philosophy later on.

Jack has opened up his own label, Fifth Sun Recordings, with local veteran and good friend Tim Patrick. So far the label has been received very well, with all three releases so far hitting Number 1 on the exclusive Balance Pool Chart successively.

All of this attention has led to 5 years of solid DJ appearances all over Canada, the United States, Japan and Europe, where Jack is proving that he can rock the decks as well. His silky smooth mixing style and genre-bending approach to programming have made him a favorite everywhere he goes. Elements of deep house, tech house, progressive, techno and some breaks are woven together with a distinct percussive and funky feel throughout.

In a few short years, Paranoid Jack has become an established name in the underground scene. He's been licensed to CD's by people as varied as Nigel Richards, Roger Sanchez, George Morel, Eddie Amador, and Steve Lawler. His records are consistently found in the boxes of the world's top DJ's, and (most gratifying to him) his career is being followed by some of the people he respects most. Nowhere was this more evident than when Circulation (one his favourite production groups) lost their records recently, and an e-mail request came in for a copy of everything Jack's ever done. Advice on finding house music for hula hoop instructional dvds?

I'm hoping for advice.

I am seeking original house music tracks (preferably without too many lyrics) which can be included in a hula hooping instructional dvd I am making. Happier, juicy, soulful house with elements of disco -- basically any house music that makes you smile widely and tap your foot and shake your head.

Do you have any sugggestions on royalty free sources of such groovy music, or have leads on any friends who produce house music who may be open to donating a song to this creative project. I don't have any cash, but I can give you a copy of the final instructional dvds and a handcrafted pro hoop when the project is done as well as credits on the dvd and links from the website.
